Step 1: Select the gift box type
Determine the style of the gift box, such as flip cover, drawer style, top and bottom cover style, or irregular box, and choose the appropriate basic shape according to the gift attributes and occasion requirements.
Step 2: Clarify size and thickness requirements
Measure the length, width, and height of the gift and reserve appropriate space (recommended to increase by 1-2 centimeters) to ensure smooth storage.
Choose cardboard thickness based on the weight of the gift and transportation requirements: For lightweight gifts, choose 2-3 millimeters thick cardboard, while for heavier items, it is recommended to use 5-7 millimeters of corrugated paper or cardboard.
Step 3: Customize printing colors and decorative ribbons
Printing design: Determine the main color tone of the gift box (monochrome, gradient, or multi-color combination), add brand logos, patterns, blessings, or personalized elements, and achieve visual effects through CMYK printing technology.
Ribbon selection: Paired with silk, linen, or metal wire ribbons, the color should match the theme of the gift box, and additional decorative accessories such as bows and tags can be added.
Step 4: Select Paper Material
Choose paper type based on texture requirements:
Matte paper: low-key and introverted, suitable for artistic style;
Glossy paper: high glossiness, highlighting exquisite feeling;
Specialty paper (such as cotton paper, textured paper): increases tactile depth and enhances high-end texture.
Step 5: Select internal tray
Choose lining according to gift shape and protection requirements:
Foam tray: suitable for fragile articles (such as glassware and porcelain), providing buffer protection;
Plush fabric lining: Suitable for small items such as jewelry, adding a sense of luxury;
Corrugated paper partition: Separate multiple gifts to prevent collisions during transportation.
